This is a translation of a Norwegian article that includes excerpts from an interview with Norwegian virologist Birger Sørensen, in which he expresses his professional opinion that it is very unlikely that SARS-CoV-2 emerged naturally. It is worth reading for some of the reasons for his judgements (explained in a non-technical way), and for an explanation of some the sociological factors that suppress uncomfortable opinions in the scientific press.
