Steven Jones et al, "15 Years Later : On the Physics of High-Rise Building Collapses", Europhysics News (24 August 2016) Just picked this up from 9/11 Blogger. I know I'm probably behind on this—as with most things over the summer—but I thought this worth mentioning because it seems like a significant development to me. Europhysics News, which describes itself as "the magazine of the European physics community" with a circulation of "about 25000 copies per issue", has recently published an article by Steven Jones, , (who's been on TMR) and The magazine is published as a hard copy, but PDF versions of the full issue [external PDF] and the article itself [external PDF] are available for free. So please do let people know about this, and if you have science and engineering friends, why not send them the links?
