Vladimir Putin, "Idlib ‘chemical attack’ was a false flag, more false flags to come! — Putin on Syria", Russia Insider (11 April 2017)

I thought it was worth reposting this link under the present circumstances. A year ago Vladimir Putin claimed that he had intelligence indicating that more "false flags like this one" (the chemical attack in Idlib) were being prepared elsewhere in Syria in order to "accuse the Syrian government of an attack."

“We have reports from multiple sources that false flags like this one—and I cannot call it otherwise—are being prepared in other parts of Syria, including the southern suburbs of Damascus. They plan to plant some chemical there and accuse the Syrian government of an attack.” *

* These, according to Russia Insider, are Putin's words during a joint press conference with Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Moscow in 2017. As I said before, I can't vouch for the accuracy of the translation in this video, because I don't speak Russian, but it would surprise me if Russia Insider were falsifying Putin's statement. After all, enough people do speak Russian to make such a deception pretty lame.
